The Oeuf is Back

The Oeuf en Béton is a 17 hectoliter concrete egg tank for aging wine. Why the concrete egg tank? The egg shape in wine making goes back many thousands of years with origins in the Greek and Roman amphorae clay pots.  The egg shape itself is an example of the Golden Ratio, "the perfect proportion", which can be found all throughout nature.
