The 2014 Bald Mountain Chardonnay has a bright golden yellow core with hints of green on the rim. Upon release in November 2015 this wine is drinking beautifully, yet will benefit from another 1-2 years of cellaring before reaching the beginning of its peak which will last from 2017-2022, longer if kept well.
Double GOLD! Sf Chronicle
The reserve Chardonnay features grapes specially picked from the 'Sand Hill' in the Bald Mountain Vineyard and aged in 100% New French Oak puncheons.
This Chardonnay is expressive of the Beauregard Ranch's unique terrior with aromas of Asian pear, jasmine, stone fruit and brioche. The flavors of nectarine, cashew butter, light spice and papaya come together to delight the senses. In the finish tropical flavors reemerge with hints of mango and honeydew for a lushious finish with balanced acitidy.
