2017 Syrah Santa Cruz Mountains

This might be our last Syrah offering for the foreseeable future. The Beauregard Syrah has a bit of a cult following, so for those of you who have been waiting on this wine stock up now. We do not have any further vintages planned. In 2017 the grapes slowly ripened through August, then, on Labor Day weekend we were plagued with a historic heat wave. Temperatures spiked to 113 degrees and stayed there for three days. The results, a wine that is bold, spicy and savory. Acidity was preserved, and the wine has an excellent structure and will cellar beautifully.
