The 2015 Rose of Syrah is the darkest and most intense of the lineup of Beauregard’s 2015 Roses. It has a concentrated pink core with light pink and orange hues on the rim. The aromas open up as the wine warms a touch in the glass to reveal notes of watermelon rind, yellow peach, raspberry, rose petal candy, a hint of spice and wet rocks. The palate is medium plus in body with flavors of of melon peel, orange, lemon balm and a touch of spicy earth. This wine would be best served in large Burgundy or Bordeaux stems at about 45-50 degrees. Drink now-Summer 2017. - Tasting Notes by Master Sommelier Ian Cauble
