Our first emphasis in winemaking is to produce wines that show the flavor of the land, what the French call, Terroir. Secondly, we choose to make wines that show typicity, wines that are varietally correct in character (i.e. how much a Pinot Noir tastes like a Pinot Noir). The combination of these two philosophies are the backbone of Beauregard Wines.
At Beauregard Vineyards our focus is in Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Zinfandel all grown on our Estate Vineyards in Bonny Doon, California. We are also known for our striking Pinot Gris and Syrah.

Meritage is a blend of the highest quality grapes from the Santa Cruz Mountains. Atraditional Bordeaux style wine, 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Sauvingon.

Hints of violet, dried sage and plum come together on the nose with a distinct salinity from the coastal fog that sits on the grapes. Cherry, fig, strawberry and light earthiness are present on the palate. With bright acidity, soft tannins and lingering spice on the finish.
