Zayante Vineyard – Zayante California:

We do not buy grapes from just any site.  When Winemaker Ryan Beauregard selects a vineyard site, he wants to see a rugged terrain.  Steep hills, rough soil, and stressed out vines are always what is desired.  Zayante Vineyard is just that place.  Greg Nolton who also owns Zayante Winery is the grower of this fruit.  We purchase Syrah (Hermetage Clone), Zinfandel (Pichette Clone), and Merlot.  In the opinion of Ryan, this is the only vineyard which he finds produce grapes as good as the Beauregard Estate in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
